Our client, Duracell, a leading company in the Consumer Goods industry, is ​ launching the operations of its Global Business Services in Costa Rica and is hiring for the following position:

Employee Services Senior Specialist

Main functions:


  • Serve as Tier 1 support globally for HR systems, Time and Attendance, and HR helpdesk inquiries.​
  • Update and maintain global time and attendance systems, including shift changes, manager or approver updates, badge number maintenance, and adding new hires.​
  • Provide global support to HR Business Stakeholders and other end-users on data management best practices and tools.​
  • Support the development and maintenance of HR information resources, including job aids and training documents.​
  • Assist in data audits and support reporting and compliance initiatives.​
  • Coordinate post-offer processes including initiating and monitoring US background checks and drug tests; and monitoring candidates’ progression in the Applicant Tracking System.​
  • Partner with PRPs, HRSS, and IT to ensure Day 1 access and readiness.​
  • Respond to new hire inquiries and troubleshoot system-related issues.​
  • Monitor onboarding completion and escalate issues as needed.​
  • Ensure regional compliance with onboarding documentation and processes.


Profile required:


  • 2+ years of experience in onboarding, HR coordination, or shared services.​
  • Familiarity with background check providers, onboarding platforms, and other HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle, ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).​
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.​
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.​
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (Microsoft Office Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).​
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.​
  • Self-motivated with initiative and the ability to work well in a remote setting.​
  • Critical thinking skills to assist in problem-solving with little to no errors.​
  • Experience working in a global or regional HR support environment.​
  • Proficient in speaking and writing in English.
