Our client, Duracell, a leading company in the Consumer Goods industry, is launching the operations of its Global Business Services in Costa Rica and is hiring for the following position:

Order Management Team Leader

Main functions:


  • Leadership:​
  • Set performance goals and KPIs for the team aligned with business objectives.​
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Order Management and Customer Service team.​
  • Foster team growth and accountability through strong people leadership.​
  • Customer Relationship Management:​
  • Act as escalation point for customer issues; resolve complex problems cross-functionally.
  • Ensure timely, professional handling of complaints, returns, and escalations.​
  • Support internal teams (Sales, Logistics) on Order Management processes.​
  • Order Management Operations:​
  • Oversee order processing (B2B, Retail, US/Canada) ensuring accuracy and compliance.​
  • Optimize systems and tools (SAP, EDI, RPA) to improve efficiency and data quality.​
  • Partner with Logistics for on-time delivery and issue resolution.​
  • Financial Acumen:​
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and pricing policies.​
  • Understand cost-to-serve and drive order optimization opportunities.​
  • Manage claims processing and support root cause analysis.​
  • Process Improvement:​
  • Lead initiatives to enhance OM processes and automation (RPA/AI).​
  • Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.​
  • Maintain documentation and standardize work processes across the team.


Profile required:


  • College or University degree preferred​
  • Strong SAP Order Management knowledge required​
  • Knowledge of EDI logic, error codes, and AI tools​
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook​
  • Demonstrated leadership and people development skills​
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities​
  • Strong operational discipline and problem-solving skills​
  • Ability to manage and analyze KPIs and process improvements​
  • Financial acumen to understand order management impact on revenue​
  • Ability to travel to the US and Canada
