Our client is hiring for the following position in Costa Rica:

R2R Accounting Analyst

Main functions:

Support end-to-end Record-to-Report accounting activities for corporate and regional operations.
Assist with the month-end closing process, including the closing of corporate and regional accounting ledgers.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and timely journal entries during the month-end close.
Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with established policies.
Perform accrual accounting and related analyses to ensure expenses are recorded in the appropriate accounting period.
Apply US GAAP principles to accounting activities and financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial controls and internal control policies.
Support the FP&A and Financial Reporting teams with relevant accounting information and activities.
Collaborate with Treasury, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, and Tax teams.
Partner with internal and external auditors by providing documentation and testing support during audits.
Contribute to consistent R2R process execution and the timely resolution of issues affecting SLA performance and internal customer satisfaction.

Profile required:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Two to five years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in a global shared services center within a multinational organization is preferred.
Knowledge of business operating systems and proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools; experience with SAP or Oracle is considered an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to independently manage multiple and diverse responsibilities while meeting established deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the organization.
Experience in multi-site manufacturing and B2B environments is preferred.
Availability to work in an office-based position in Costa Rica.
Required B2 English proficiency with strong conversational skills.
