Our client is hiring for the following position in Costa Rica:

Credit & Risk Lead

Main functions:

Lead and guide the credit and collections team, including credit analysts and collections professionals.
Establish team priorities, monitor performance, and provide coaching to support team development.
Develop work strategies, objectives, and priorities for the credit and risk function.
Administer and enforce credit and collections policies and procedures.
Evaluate consumer and commercial credit risk.
Develop strategies in collaboration with management to reduce exposure to write-offs and bad debt.
Review, prepare, and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, credit hold reports, bad debt reports, and new credit application reports.
Partner with Sales and other internal stakeholders to resolve credit and chargeback matters.
Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team on chargeback resolution and cash application matters.
Support the management of relationships with third-party collection agencies.

Profile required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
More than five years of experience in credit or collections, including experience leading or supervising a team.
Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with external agencies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in multi-site manufacturing and B2B environments is strongly preferred.
Availability to work in an office-based position in Costa Rica.
Required C1 English proficiency with strong conversational skills.
