Our client is hiring for the following position in Costa Rica:

Invoice Processing & Payment Processing Lead

Main functions:

Lead and develop the team responsible for invoice processing, payment processing, and validation.
Establish team priorities, monitor performance against daily and monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets, and provide ongoing coaching.
Oversee the review, validation, and processing of vendor invoices through the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and tax compliance.
Manage three-way and two-way matching among purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
Ensure invoice discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
Oversee the processing of non-purchase order invoices, ensuring that the appropriate approvals and supporting documentation are obtained.
Ensure billing validation, electronic invoicing, and timely invoice delivery standards are consistently met.
Oversee accounts payable wire transfers, ensuring information is accurately entered and routed for approval.
Direct the creation of payment selections and ensure payments are properly initiated and executed on time.
Ensure accuracy and compliance across all payment methods and disbursement channels.
Partner with Procurement, Compliance, and Treasury teams to address invoice- and payment-related issues and maintain process alignment.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent invoice and payment processing across regions.
Ensure timely communication and resolution of escalated issues affecting SLA performance or vendor satisfaction.

Profile required:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
More than five years of experience in invoice processing, accounts payable payment operations, or Procure-to-Pay operations.
Experience leading or supervising a team.
Strong understanding of invoice matching, tax compliance, billing validation, and payment execution processes.
Proficiency with ERP systems and electronic invoicing or payment platforms, such as SAP or Oracle.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in multi-site manufacturing and B2B environments is strongly preferred.
Availability to work in an office-based position in Costa Rica.
Required C1 English proficiency with strong conversational skills.
