Our client is hiring for the following position in Costa Rica:

Billing Lead

Main functions:

Lead and guide the Billing team, establishing priorities and directing daily activities.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching to support professional development.
Manage escalation paths for complex or high-risk billing matters.
Oversee the accuracy and timely completion of invoicing activities.
Reconcile billing accounts to the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
Supervise the resolution of billing discrepancies, adjustments, and other invoicing issues.
Partner with the Commercial team to review and validate customer disputes.
Lead the dispute resolution process to ensure issues are addressed accurately and promptly.
Validate customer deductions and develop effective processes in collaboration with the Collections team.
Work closely with Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Commercial, and client purchasing departments to resolve billing issues.
Coordinate across departments to align billing processes with financial reporting and collection objectives.

Profile required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
At least five years of billing experience, including experience leading or supervising a team.
Strong knowledge of billing operations, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic billing systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in multi-site manufacturing and B2B environments is strongly preferred.
Availability to work in an office-based position in Costa Rica.
Required C1 English proficiency with strong conversational skills.
