Our client, Duracell, a leading company in the Consumer Goods industry, is launching the operations of its Global Business Services in Costa Rica and is hiring for the following position:

Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist

Main functions:

Cash Application:
Post customer’s daily payments received in the Duracell bank accounts to clear appropriate invoices and create customer deductions taken.
Obtain any additional backup or remittance detail from our customers that is necessary to process the payment.
Troubleshoot and correct any issues that arise in posting.
Reconcile cash transactions against open receivables.
Perform the monthly cash reconciliation for close.
Proactively recognize and suggest improvements to the cash application process that drives simplification and productivity.
Weekly and monthly reporting to direct Team Leader.
Participate in team planning meetings.
Processing monthly credit memos and the appropriate reporting
Collaboration with other Accounts Receivables Teams and General Accounting

Profile required:

Studies in Business, Economics, Finance, or other related field; or provable working experience.
At least 1 year of working experience in AR area
SAP knowledge: at least one year experience.
HighRadius experience is a plus
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Detail and time-oriented individual who takes ownership of projects.
Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, continuously changing, fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, mostly advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, functions and formulas.
Advanced english proficiency.
