Our client, Duracell, a leading company in the Consumer Goods industry, is ​ launching the operations of its Global Business Services in Costa Rica and is hiring for the following position:

Human Resources Associate Director ​

Main functions:


  • Develop and align HR strategies with organizational goals, ensuring that human capital initiatives actively support the company's business direction and long-term objectives.​​
  • Drive end-to-end talent acquisition processes, focusing on attracting, selecting, and retaining high-performing individuals across all departments and hierarchical levels.​​
  • Oversee onboarding and employee integration programs, ensuring that new hires across regions experience a smooth and structured introduction to the company culture, systems, and expectations.​​
  • Design and manage training and development frameworks that foster continuous learning, upskilling, and career advancement for employees at all levels.​​
  • Lead the performance and talent review cycles, analyzing trends to develop effective growth plans while driving employee engagement and productivity through structured feedback and evaluation.​​
  • Cultivate a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative work environment by promoting initiatives that enhance employee well-being, diversity, and a strong organizational culture.​​
  • Ensure full legal compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies across multiple geographies, while mitigating risk through proactive policy enforcement.​​
  • Administer payroll operations regionally, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursements, while also contributing to broader HR planning and workforce cost analysis.​​
  • Carry out other responsibilities inherent to the role.


Profile required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.​​
  • More than 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior or managerial capacity.​​
  • Demonstrated background working within a Global Business Services environment or an equivalent international corporate structure.​​
  • In-depth understanding of HR principles and solid familiarity with Costa Rican labor regulations.​​
  • Proven capability to lead and execute HR strategies that directly support organizational goals.​​
  • Skilled in the use of HR systems and digital tools to support operational efficiency.​​
  • Strong leadership abilities complemented by excellent communication and relationship-building skills.​​
  • Advanced english proficiency.
