Our client, Duracell, a leading company in the Consumer Goods industry, is ​ launching the operations of its Global Business Services in Costa Rica and is hiring for the following position:​

Office Manager, General Manager Assistant

Main functions:


  • Provide administrative support to the Site Director, including calendar and expense management.​​
  • Coordinate business travel and accommodation for the Director, as well as international travel arrangements for visiting executives, including airport transfers and activity planning. ​​
  • Oversee general office and facilities management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Manage the office Budget, including supplies, sundries, and facility-related expenses.​​
  • ​Handle procurement and inventory of office supplies.​​
  • Schedule meeting and coordinate on-site hospitality.​​
  • Administer company phone contracts, old laptop disposal policy, and parking pass distribution.​​
  • Own Health & Safety responsibilities, ensuring adequate first aid and fire marshal coverage in compliance with regulations.​​
  • Assist HR with onboarding processes, including systems Access, expense setup, and H&S training.​​
  • Organize internal company events such as off-sites, holiday parties, and charity initiatives.


Profile required:


  • Studies in Business, Economics, Finance or related field.​​
  • At least 2 years of proven experience of Assistant/Office Management.​​
  • Experience in Budget management for events/office supplies, and managing suppliers.​​
  • Event management experience is advantageous.​​​
  • Good level in MS Office, including outlook, excel, PowerPoint. ​​
  • Preferred experience working in an ERP environment (SAP)/ SAP Master Data. ​​
  • Strong competencies in: Organizational skills, independent and proactive, communication skills, attention to detail.​
  • Advanced english proficiency.
